Responsible for supervising, evaluating, counseling, and coaching care members on assigned units. * Responsible for identifying and resolving problems at the unit level. Keeps the Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing informed of resident's status through verbal communication and written reports. * Makes daily rounds, visits every floor of responsibility, and checks acutely ill residents, admissions, and follows up on residents. * Performs periodic audit of charting and documentation. Assures proper execution of physician's orders. * Deals effectively, professionally, and tactfully with resident and family concerns. * Submits weekly and monthly reports on statistics, meetings, and other pertinent information. * Attends continuing education classes, seminars, workshops to maintain professional competency. Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $56.34 to $70.42 per hour Qualifications Qualifications: * 2 years of experience in Nursing Administration required * Current NY State Registered Nurse license Education: * Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
