Registered Nurse RN 5/6 Weekend Stepdown Care

Overview Sign on Bonuses * $10,000 with a 2 year work commitment (new graduate and external candidates) Limited Weekend Requirements * Self-scheduled per 6 week plotter * 0-4 years of RN Experience = 4 Weekend Shifts * 4-10 years of RN Experience = 3 Weekend Shifts * 10-15 years of RN Experience = 2 Weekend Shifts * 15+ years of RN Experience = No weekend Shifts Generous Vacation and Holiday Time Off Plan * OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits. Competitive Compensation * Pay range for this position is $32.08-$48.73. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with Providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. Will be scheduled and required to work 5 out of every 6 weekends. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.
