House Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY:# Coordinates patient flow throughout the organization from point of entry to appropriate bed placement, based on medical and emotional needs of the patient as well as the needs and specifications of the patient care units. Collaborates with Patient Care Service Directors, serving as a resource person, consultant, role model and educator for Nurse Managers and staff.# Practice in accordance with prescribed, delegated medical regimen and hospital policies, and within the scope of the NC Nurse Practice Act/Paramedic Standards. # EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE: # Minimum Required:#### Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or an accredited Paramedic program, with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or certificate to practice as a Paramedic in North Carolina.# BLS certification; recertification required bi-annually. BSN (within 6 months of hire) for RN and Degree in Emergency Medical Services field for Paramedic. 3 years of Acute Nursing or Paramedic Experience. #Proficient in the use of keyboard and basic computer applications. 3+ years of Critical Care Nursing and/or Emergency Nursing Experience is preferred.
