ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST - POOL (Temple/Episcopal Campus)

Performs quality echocardiograms for maximum results and performs various echocardiography studies on patients under the direction of a Cardiologist. Gathers and documents appropriate data and reports probable findings to appropriate physicians. Successfully transmits study to viewing station for Cardiologist interpretation. Works closely with cardiologist to ensure all studies are within Cardiologist expectations. Performs all study charges and retrieves reports as requested by referring physicians. Education Trade School : formal training from ultrasound school and cardiovascular (Required) Bachelors Degree (Preferred) Experience 1 Year experience in a Echocardiography Laboratory (Required) License/Certifications BLS - Basic Life Support (Required) RCS - Reg Cardiac Sonographer (Required) or RDCS - Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer (Required) _ '243550
