Who we are looking for: We are recruiting for a .6-1.0 FTE (flexible schedule, part-time or full-time, benefit eligible) Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled pediatric team of professionals in Spokane, WA Responsibilities What you will do: * The Physical Therapist is an integral member of the rehab team and is responsible for the administration of appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for the rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21. * Responsible for adherence to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association. * Uses creativity, professional judgment, and problem solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes and provide the highest quality of patient centered care. * Participates in patient and family teaching and works collaboratively with other disciplines. * Plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through the integration of skill development, strength and movement, play based activities, and social-emotional development. Qualifications What you will need: * Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred * Washington State Physical Therapy License Required * CPR certification * Minimum of 2 years previous pediatric experience (medical or educational settings preferred) * Strong organizational / time management skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Ability to work well as a productive team member in planning and providing services to children and families. * Ability to work cooperatively with staff, parents, volunteers, community members, and support personnel is vital to this position.
