PHLEBOTOMIST (Temple/Chestnut Hill Hospital - 20 hours/days)

Responsible for collecting blood samples from patients by venipuncture or capillary puncture assuming responsibility for their safety and comfort. Acquires urine specimens and throat cultures, orders tests, and verifies medical necessity on outpatients. Performs clerical and other duties as assigned. Schedule-Five daytime shifts (4:30 AM - 8:30 AM) per week, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday rotation Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED Certification and Licensure BLS Certification '206501
