Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Location: Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Req#: 0000144449 Status: Per Diem Shift: Evening Department name: Ultrasound Job Overview: Sonographers provide patient services using diagnostic ultrasound equipment. Qualifications: Required: * Graduate of accredited school of sonography Preferred: Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable): * Certified by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Registry eligible Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions): * Varies * Evenings * Per Diem Essential Functions: * The sonographer is competent in the production & analysis of ultrasound images used by physicians for patient diagnosis & treatment. * In addition, the individual must be prepared to render quality patient care by exercising discretion & judgement in the performance of sonographic services.
