Nurse Manager - Surgical/Trauma ICU

Job Summary Provides clinical and administrative support to staff providing direct/indirect care to patients on a specific unit/units. Responsible on a 24-hour basis for the programmatic, operational and financial management of the unit/program. Interviews, hires, assigns work to and evaluates work performance of employees supervised. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital. * Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida. * Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree preferred. * Minimum 5 years RN experience. * Minimum 2 years management experience required. * ICU background preferred. * National certification preferred.
