Luther Crest, A Diakon Lutheran Senior Living Community # Located in Allentown with easy access to Route#78, Route#22 and Route 476. Luther Crest is a large Continuing Care Retirement Community with a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, along with a personal care community. Luther Crest is seeking skilled and caring individuals to be part of Diakon#s Many Hands#One Heart#team.#Employees are able to use Luther Crest#s state-of-the-art Wellness Center including a fitness center, spa, and indoor heated Olympic-size pool.# General Responsibilities: Responsible for managing a range of post-acute and rehabilitation patients by utilizing physical assessment skills and nursing principles.# Provides routine, basic health care and assistance with activities of daily living for all residents; monitors vital signs as indicated. Maintains residents# electronic health care record; records and documents assessments as necessary per residents# health status and as required. # Education/Training: Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse required. # Experience: A minimum of two (2) years# experience in related nursing positions preferred. # ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
