Asante Three Rivers is a multi-year recipient of the CMS 5 star ranking for quality and safety and also ranked in among the top providers of orthopedic services in Oregon. Position Summary At Asante Three Rivers Medical Center, the RN's in C/D Unit care for a combination of Medical and Surgical patients (with focus on surgical and orthopedic patients). The Ortho Post-Surgical unit cares for the adult population concentrating on the recovery of total joint, colorectal, and general surgeries with a high-paced and high-energy team approach. Nursing Station C/D has 31 beds with an average census of 27 patients. Our goal is to provide superb health care in a compassionate manner. All patient rooms have ceiling patient lifts to assist in patient and staff safety. Qualifications Education * Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred Experience * Experience in an acute patient care environment Licensure/Certifications * RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start * BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start Preferred Certifications * CMSRN: Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse by Medical Surgical Nursing Certification Board * ONC: Orthopedic Nursing Certification What We Offer for Full-time and Part-time Positions * Progressive nursing pay - including earning more with a preferred unit-designated specialty certification and/or your BSN! * Comprehensive Total Rewards package including medical, dental, vision, wellness; retirement plan with up to a 6% employer contribution; and a generous paid time off policy that increases with years of service * Tuition Reimbursement Program What We Offer Our Flexible Workforce (Per diem/On-call) * Progressive nursing pay - including earning more with a preferred unit-designated specialty certification and/or your BSN! * An additional 15% on top of the base hourly rate (if not an employee already in a benefited position) * Excellent retirement package with up to a 6% employer contribution * Benefit option available through the Asante Flexible Workforce plan About Asante and Southern Oregon Asante is a local, community owned and governed, not-for-profit organization that provides comprehensive health care services to more than 550,000 people in a nine-county area of Southern Oregon and Northern California.
