Certified Hemodialysis Tech

Position Purpose:#Provide safe and effective dialysis treatments in a chronic outpatient dialysis setting under the direct supervision of a licensed registered nurse.# Care is provided in compliance with policies and procedures, guidelines and regulations of SAH Dialysis Clinic, State of IL, and other federal agencies.# General Job Requirements# High school diploma or equivalent Certified Hemodialysis Technologist [CHT] credential from the Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing and Technology [BONENT] Current CPR Must maintain all applicable State of Illinois licensure requirements Minimum of 1 year dialysis experience preferred Certified Medical Assistant, CNA, or Phlebotomy certification preferred Ishihara#s Color Blindness test as a condition of employment ## #Position Purpose: Provide safe and effective dialysis treatments in a chronic outpatient dialysis setting under the direct supervision of a licensed registered nurse.
