Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, Summary: The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care that is guide by the ANA scope of practice. The Registered Nurse collaborates with patients, family/significant others, peers, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in the delivery of healthcare services to patients. The Registered Nurse assesses the patient's needs, plans care, implements, and evaluates the medical and nursing regimens in accordance with the hospital and nursing philosophy, policies/procedures, and standards. He or she demonstrates leadership skills and commitment to professional accountability and growth. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred Experience: Must have at least one year of Emergency Room RN experience License: Current license issued by New York State to practice as a registered nurse. BLS and ACLS required. Location: Vassar Brothers Medical Center Work Type: Full-Time Standard Hours: 24.00 FTE: 0.600000 Work Schedule: EVENING 12.5 15 hours pay for each 12 hours of work Obligation to work every weekend (2) 12 hour shifts per weekend 1 ½ for excess of 40 hours per week and holiday Full time health benefits Work Shift: 11a-11p Org Unit: 972 Department: Emergency Department Exempt: No Grade: U11 Salary Range: $32.6400 - $65.0148 Hourly Working conditions: Essential: * Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc. * Medium to Heavy effort.
