Neurology Nurse Practitioner - D.C. Suburb

We are currently looking for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our outpatient neurology practice in Germantown, MD: * Outstanding opportunity to join our well-established multidisciplinary private practice and work alongside 2 neurologists, 1 physical medicine & rehabilitation physician, 1 sleep medicine physician, 3 neurology nurse practitioners, 2 psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioners, 1 neuropsychologist, and a tenured support staff * Our practice offers the full scope of general outpatient neurology services, including an on-site sleep lab as well as EEGs, EMGs, and neuropsychological testing * Full-time availability preferred, with no evenings or weekends required * Offering competitive compensation and complete benefits Qualifications: * 1+ years of neurology or related experience is required * Must love building relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills * Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations * State licensure and board certification are required About Germantown, MD: * Offering an ideal mix of urban and suburban living, Germantown is located minutes from downtown Washington, D.C. and three major airports. * Within the city of Germantown, there is no shortage of dining and retail, community art centers, historical buildings, scenic parks, and a highly ranked public school system (Montgomery County Public Schools). * The Washington metropolitan area as a whole is home to numerous government institutions and cultural attractions, including festivals, museums, theaters, year-round markets, outdoor recreation, and five professional sports teams. * The community is situated in close proximity to several highly regarded institutions including Georgetown, George Washington, Howard, and Johns Hopkins Universities.
