RN Unit Manager

RN Unit Manager SIGN-ON BONUS: up to $7,500 SALARY RANGE: $83,850 - $92,625 *Depending on Experience* SHIFT: Full-Time JOB DESCRIPTION: The RN Unit Manager oversees our subacute and long-term care units, assesses residents, and supports/directs staff as needed. Unit managers are responsible for managing the nursing unit. They primarily supervise the daily care of patients and ensure quality patient care. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Maintaining and restoring the health of resident patients * Acting as the main point of contact between residents and their families * Addressing and preventing concerns from family members * Assists in developing, implementing, and making adjustments to patient care plans as needed * Supervises, counsels, and provides discipline, when necessary, to nursing staff to ensure the highest quality care possible * Ensures their unit meets federal and state regulatory standards, as well as company policies and procedures * Collaborates with the Director of Nursing, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians to plan and maintain resident care * Completes admission and discharge assessments * Oversees and audits changes made to care plans * Delivers hands-on care and medicine distribution as needed REQUIREMENTS: * New York State Licensed Professional Licensure * Experience in long-term care facility preferred * Able to interpret patient information and make critical decisions about necessary actions * Ability to supervise and work well with and show respect toward other health care personnel (i.e., CNAs, LPNs, physicians, etc.), residents, and their family members * Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions * Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness * Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds BENEFITS: * Weekly Paychecks * Instant Pay Options * Referral Bonuses * Flexible Schedules * Peer Mentorship * Generous Paid Time Off APPLY ONLINE OR SEND YOUR RESUME TO: Rebecca "Becky" Shean, Recruiter Roscoe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center 420 Rockland Road, Roscoe NY 12776 Call or Text: (O) 607-498-4121 ext. 251 or (C) 845-861-1750 for more information ABOUT US: VestraCare is a portfolio of four health care facilities in New York state, including: Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk; Roscoe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Roscoe; Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boonville; and Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Johnson City.
