Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care Family Medicine - All Facilities

* FULL-TIME "FLOAT" PRIMARY CARE FAMILY MEDICINE OPPORTUNITY* We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our FREDERICK HEALTH IN OUR PRIMARY CARE FAMILY MEDICINE FACILITIES. This candidate will have the opportunity to work in all facilities throughout Frederick Health Medical Group. This position will work Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p. Job Summary Frederick Health Medical Group, a 115+ provider multi-specialty group seeks Nurse Practitioners that will see patients 50% of the time with the other 50% spent assisting with clinical tasks to help support the provider team. The Advanced Practice Provider functions in the role of clinician, consultant, educator, researcher, and serves as a resource to the physicians. Under the supervision of a physician, coordinates clinical services to provide consistent quality of care for patients in the healthcare setting and is responsible for providing evaluation and management of behavioral health services. Conducts physical examinations, provides treatment, and counsels patients and families. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate a high level of clinical expertise in working with patients of all ages in a primary care setting. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Must have knowledge of computer skills. Experience with prior electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred. * Maintains the necessary CME credits to maintain licensure. * Must demonstrate ability to stay organized; is able to multi-task effectively. * Must demonstrate time management, conflict resolution, and trouble shooting skills. * Must demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required: * Nurse Practitioner: Certification of completion from an approved Masters in Nursing program. * Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Maryland. * Current DEA license. * Current Maryland Controlled Substance license. * Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or an approved training center. * License to practice in any state that has never been suspended or revoked. * Has not been excluded from participation from any Payers. * At least 2 years experience is preferred. Frederick, Maryland is located less than 1-hour from both Washington D.C. and Baltimore. The D.C. suburb is a family-oriented community that has highly ranked public and private schools.
