Job Posting Summary $2,500 sign-on bonus Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Neuroscience IMC / PCU Team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time day shift opportunity. RNs on this unit typically see a 1:3 nurse to patient ratio and provide care to patients with neurologic conditions that may include seizures, strokes, craniotomies, neuromuscular emergencies, etc. We provide training for those who may be new to neuro and want to expand their skills in this area, and RNs with experience in multiple units are encouraged to apply. As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for: * Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses * Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement * Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care * Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital * Serve as patient advocate * Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities Full/Part Time Full-Time Shift Details Days Education Required Associate's Degree - Nursing Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience * 1-2 years Clinical Nursing Experience * Radiology/Imaging Experience * Experience working in a hospital setting * Operating Room Experience * Customer Service Experience * Experience with vascular imaging procedures Licenses and Certifications * Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required * Licensed Registered Nurse Required Location Overview For more than 20 years, health care consumers have named Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville the "most preferred healthcare provider" in the region.
