Sonographer


* Graduate of American Medical Association approved Ultrasound Program. * Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Sonographer - Preferred * Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. * Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) * Demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique. * Experience in interventional procedures. * Written and verbal communication skills. * Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. * Ability to multi-task. The Ultrasound Sonographer performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques, to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data as specified in departmental protocols. Schedules and coordinates tests and prepares and maintains operational logs. Records test results and updates patient records for referring physicians. Maintains and calibrates equipment, and orders necessary supplies all approved ultrasound procedures. ARDMS - Abdomen preferred
