Registered Nurse, MSU - Days ($15,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Job Description Overview: $15,000 SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE FOR RNs! Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. * Requires an Associate's degree in Nursing. Prefer Bachelors degree in Nursing. * High preferred, 1-3 years previous clinical experience * Requires current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina * Requires current BLS * Requires ACLS and NIHSS (within 90 days) Company Description: Lake Norman Regional Medical Center has been serving the needs of the greater Lake Norman, Iredell and surrounding counties since 1926.
