Clinical Nurse Educator- Med/Surg/Telemetry

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you would be responsible for the orientation, training, and competency validation, and continuing education of the nursing staff on the following units 3 South, a 18-bed Med/Surg unit and 4 South, a 34-bed Telemetry and Oncology unit. Position: Clinical Nurse Educator - 3 South (Med/Surg) and 4 South (Telemetry/Oncology) Shift: Full-Time; primarily day shift with a 20 percent chance to work off-shift Experience: 1. Three to Five years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry Nurse experience. 2. Prior Clinical Nurse Educator or other related experience is preferred. Education: 1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. 2. At least one degree must be in nursing ( i.e. BSN or MSN ). 3. Master's degree is strongly preferred. Licensures/Certifications: 1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact. 2. Certification in Specialty is preferred. 3. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
