RN Weekend Warrior STARTING RATE: $33.00/hr. ($33.00 - $35.00 per hour, dependent upon experience) Flexible Schedule - Friday/Saturday, Saturday/Sunday, or Sunday/Monday * SIGN-ON BONUS: up to $7,500* SHIFT: Weekend Warrior Shifts As a Weekend Warrior, you would work every weekend and receive an hourly shift adder in addition to your base pay for working the weekend. BENEFITS: * Weekly Paychecks * Weekend Warrior Positions - Work 32 Hours and Get Paid for 40 * Shift Differentials * Instant Pay Options * Referral Bonuses * Flexible Schedules - Full Openings * Peer Mentorship JOB DESCRIPTION: A Registered Nurse may supervise duties performed by LPNs and CNAs in a team care setting under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Nursing Supervisor, and Director of Nursing. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide direct care and treatment to long-term and rehabilitation resident * Provide assessment and documentation of residents under their care * Initiates and administers Intravenous treatments * Communicates with the Nursing team and medical team as appropriate * Reviews and evaluates the resident care plan * Transcribes Physician orders * May assist in orientating new staff * Maintains competency in all site-specific tasks required by the facility * Work closely with RN Supervisor to ensure the best possible functions of the assigned unit * Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans * Prepares and administers, and records prescribed medications * Records patients' medical information and vital signs * Assesses the patient's ability to do routine daily tasks * Recognizes and manages geriatric syndromes common to older adults, including cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, hematological, musculoskeletal, endocrine, neurological, psychiatric/psychosocial, integumentary, sensory, and pain problems * Prepares equipment and aids the physician during the examination and treatment of the patient * Communicate with family members regarding patient * Records all care information concisely, accurately, and entirely, promptly, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms * Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting REQUIREMENTS: * Degree from an accredited school of nursing * Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York requires * Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred * Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable * Strong customer service skills and compassion APPLY ONLINE OR SEND YOUR RESUME TO: Absolut Care of Three Rivers Attn: Laura Christly, Recruiter 101 Creekside Drive Painted Post, NY 14870 CALL: (607) 936-4108 for more information ABOUT US: Absolut Care is comprised of five skilled nursing facilities and one assisted living facility in New York State, including: Absolut Care of Allegany in Allegany, Absolut Care of Aurora Park in East Aurora, Absolut Care of Gasport in Gasport, Absolut Care of Orchard Brooke in Orchard Park, Absolut Care of Three Rivers in Painted Post and Absolut Care of Westfield in Westfield.
