RN will float to different units based on discharge/ admission needs. Need will be determined by the house supervisor on unit where RN will be deployed. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Diploma (Not HS) in Nursing CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 2 years of RN experience ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Performs all essential job functions of Registered Nurse (RN) . * Initiates, creates, and maintains a collaborative practice with various physician groups and other units to address patient care issues and achieve optimal patient outcomes. Collaborates to evaluate effectiveness of patient education tools/programs and plans and makes recommendations for modification. * Works directly with nurse manager in the areas of strategic planning, personnel management, and unit operation. * Displays creativity by independently developing and implementing an innovative approach to patient population.
