Position Summary The Nurse Manager, Pre-Op/PACU at Orlando Regional Medical Center provides leadership & operational oversight for the PACU and PreOp & Discharge Holding units. Accountable for achievement of department and hospital goals in concert with other hospital and medical staff leadership. PACU and PreOp & Discharge Holding is a fast-paced environment where you are involved in the care of and safe preparation of patients going to surgery. You will work closely with surgical and anesthesia teams to prep patients for a wide variety of surgical procedures. This is a high acuity, high volume area. Two (2) years as a registered nurse in PACU or ICU and one (1) year leadership experience. Qualifications Education/Training Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with Graduate degree in Business or health-related field preferred.
