Central Sterile Supervisor

SUMMARY The Central Sterile Supervisor observes and monitors employees and shift operations on a daily basis. Assists with performance evaluations as well as coaching, training and orientating staff. Works closely with other supporting departments to maintain instrumentation in a cost effective manner. Provides on-site support, training and communication to contracted facilities in accordance with the Department of Health, The Joint Commission, OSHA, CDC, AAMI and AORN standards and facilities goals and policies. QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma or GED. * Graduated from Sterile Processing Accredited Program. * Associates Degree in any healthcare realated field preferred. * Six (6) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience * One (1) year lead experience required * Seven (7) or more years job related experienced including Sterile Processing or Peroperative related field preferred. * Certified as a Sterile Processing from HSPA (formally known as IAHCSMM) or CBSPD * Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
