Working with colleagues who love what they do and are deeply committed to our Mission, you too can be part of our transformation across the enterprise HSS Pediatric Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program Start Date: July 2024 4 days a week no weekends Mission: A post graduate training program designed to equip qualified pediatric nurse practitioners with the academic and clinical skills and knowledge to provide high quality, evidence-based care to surgical and non-surgical pediatric orthopedic patients and advance the field of pediatric orthopedics. The program is comprehensive and structured to include both clinical and didactic experiences. Qualifications: * Completion of an accredited Pediatric NP Master's Program * Pediatric National Board Certification * Current and active New York State RN/NP Licensure * 1 Professional Letter of recommendation (program director, preceptor, or manager) * Submission of CV and letter of intent * No previous pediatric orthopedic experience Goals of Program: Upon completion of the program, the Nurse Practitioner will demonstrate advanced knowledge of pediatric orthopedic conditions, demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and advanced decision-making skills using the best available scientific evidence, integrate appropriate technologies for management of patient care, apply ethical and cultural competency in the healthcare setting, practice multidisciplinary collaboration and function as an independent provider. Qualifications * Completion of an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Master's Program * Pediatric National Board Certification * BLS/PALS via AHA required * Current and active New York State RN/NP Licensure * 1 Professional Letter of recommendation (Program director, preceptor, or manager) * Submission of CV and letter of intent * No pediatric orthopedic experience required Other Requirements #LI-Onsite #LI-AG1 Pay Range - Minimum USD $100,473.00/Yr. Pay Range - Maximum USD $111,723.00/Yr.
