Twilight Referral Registered Veterinary Nurse

Practice Site: * Lumbry Park (Alton) Lumbry Park (Alton) Twilight Referral RVN Reporting to: Senior Wards RVN Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week including unsociable hours - we would also welcome and consider part time applications Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is a large multidisciplinary referral hospital providing veterinary referral services across the South of England including London and the Thames Valley. Our services include Orthopaedic surgery, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery, ophthalmology, Cardiology, and Diagnostic Imaging. The hospital is an ISFM gold feline clinic and was awarded the BVHA design award for an outstanding working environment. We are part of CVS (UK) Ltd, the largest provider of integrated veterinary services in the UK; the referrals division currently operates eight referral hospitals in the UK and Ireland. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic RVNs to join our twilight nursing team. This is a flexible role incorporating inpatient care, emergency and critical-care nursing and provision of anaesthesia cover in certain circumstances. The role is particularly suitable for those with a passion for critical care nursing and anaesthesia. You will be working in a dedicated team of night RVNs, supported by a veterinary surgeon and specialist-led referral team. The team includes two diplomates in ECC and three diplomates in anaesthesia.
