Overview This position is located at Winn Army Community Hospital, Fort Stewart, Hinesville, GA. Links: https://winn.tricare.mil/ http://www.cityofhinesville.org/ https://home.army.mil/stewart/index.php Responsibilities As a Nurse( Clinical/Medical-Surg) you will: * Provide comprehensive age appropriate nursing care to medical surgical patients. * Perform a variety of administrative/floor duties as an extension and in support of the head nurse. * Administer oxygen, IV fluid, blood transfusion and medications. * Serve as a team leader and charge nurse and make decisions regarding priorities in patient care for shift assignments. * Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment such as oxygen masks, Ambulatory bags, intravenous pumps, wall suction, etc. * Instruct patient and family members regarding disease process and provides emotional support as needed. Qualifications US Citizenship Required Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. At least one year experience working as a Registered Nurse (Clinical/Medical-Surg)
