Naylor School REPORTS TO: Principal and Coordinator of Health Services PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide general health care services to students QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES: * Graduate of an accredited school for registered nurses, BSN preferred * Successful experience as a school nurse preferred * Experience with nursing procedures (tracheotomy, G-tube feeding, catheterization, diabetic care, etc.) highly preferred * Knowledgeable of school health procedures including state and federal mandates * Desire and demonstrated ability to work with school-aged children CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Current and valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license Current and valid CPR certification SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary in accordance with Hartford Federation of School Health Professionals (2014-2015) - Appendix A, Salary Schedule 5A: ($41,177-$63,194) 10 month work year.
