Benefits and Incentives * $20k sign-on bonus (qualifying external candidates) * Up to $10k relocation bonus (depending on the distance of move) * $20k student loan repayment * Tuition assistance (100% of tuition and fees or up to $5,250) * Incentive pay and shift differentials * Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and 403(b) with employer contribution * Generous paid time off to support work/life balance Position Summary The Perioperative Core Coordinator s responsible for providing guidance, clinical expertise, and mentoring to members of the assigned health care team within the specialty while optimizing available resources to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities * Acts as a clinical resource for perioperative services personnel within the specialty using professional guidelines and evidence-based standards * Coordinates perioperative patient care with other members of the surgical team * Performs surgical case management with other members of the surgical team * Provides educational resources and coordinate with the perioperative educator regarding perioperative team education specific to the specialty * Acts as a consultant to advise the perioperative team in areas of specialty expertise * Assists perioperative personnel in evaluating practice and in creating strategies for further improvement within the specialty Requirements * Bachelor's degree in nursing or ability to obtain within five (5) years of placement into position * Current registered nurse licensure in state of employment * Basic life support (BLS) certification * Five (5) years varied surgical services experience * CNOR preferred Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $43.16 - $77.45 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
