JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Collaborates with the surgeon to perform a safe operation with optimal outcome for the patient. Practices perioperative nursing for patients of all ages including pediatric and geriatrics, and has acquired the necessary specific knowledge, skills and judgment specific to clinical practice to assure quality nursing care. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required. Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) required. Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) preferred. Healthcare Provider BLS required.
