The successful candidate: * To assess, evaluate, implement, collect data, document, monitor, administer pre and post-operative medications to all surgical patients. * Directs the care delivered by other licensed and unlicensed clinicians. * Assist with physicians with procedures. * Prioritize care for all types of surgical patients. * Must be able to respond to the hospital within 60 minutes. * Must be able to work M-F 7:30a-4:00p with call. Qualifications Your qualifications should include: * Current IL RN License * BLS through American Heart Association certification must be maintained while in this position * ACLS through American Heart Association upon hire or obtained by end of orientation period, and maintain while in position * Telemetry - Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and institute appropriate interventions * Previous perioperative nursing experience * Ultrasound guided IV insertion/Phlebotomy experience City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
