Supplemental - Certified Nurse Midwife

This is a supplemental midwifery position at Legacy Medical Group (LMG) Midwifery on the Legacy Mt. Hood campus. Our thriving midwifery practice provides independent full scope care in a team-based model. Description and Requirements: * Provides antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, family-planning and well-woman gynecological care independently to adolescent and adult patients based on scope of practice and established guidelines. * Consults appropriately with consulting physicians. * Provides collaborative care or referral to medical management as appropriate. * This care is guided by practice guidelines and standards established jointly by the LMG Midwifery staff and Program Director under the direction of the Clinical VP of Women's Services. * Follows all organizational, regulatory and human resource policies and procedures. * Practice includes full participation in outpatient and inpatient care. * Practices full scope midwifery. * Full scope women's healthcare and midwifery experience required. * Ability to work with people in a diplomatic and tactful manner, utilizing effective leadership and group process skills. * Bilingual preferred but not required. Education: * As required by licensure. Certification and Licenses: * Current applicable state license as a Registered Nurse/ Nurse Midwife/ Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NP-PP) required. * National Certification as a Nurse Midwife required. * Possess active BLS card from the American Heart Association * Current licensure as required by staff and state requirements.
