Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner-PMHNP Student

Internship Duties * Conducts comprehensive diagnostic psychiatric evaluations and presents cases to clinical supervisor * Discusses treatment plan with clinical supervisor recommended medication regimen * Provides engagement and treatment to consumer through telephonic and in-person meetings. * Maintains effective communications with clients, primary care physicians, substance abuse and mental healthcare providers, family, collateral resources and other agency staff on behalf of clients. * Attends and participates in team meetings to provide input/feedback around psychosocial and medical conditions conditions/comorbidities to review client status, update plans and goals, review outcomes to further program goals. * Participates in individual and group supervision, treatment team meetings, case conferences, and other staff development activities as assigned.
