Clinical Supervisor ( RN )

Job Details Our Clinical Nursing Supervisor will: * Manage daily clinical nursing operations to ensure the hospital standards and needs are met. * Be responsible for preparation and evaluation of nursing staff activities and schedules to ensure 24 hour coverage. * Serve as the managerial and clinical link between the Nurse Manager and/or Department Director in their absence and the administrator on call * Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. * Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education. What you'll bring: * Passion for Nursing Leadership * 3+ Years acute care clinical RN experience * Prior house-wide Nursing Supervision experience preferred; critical care/emergency nursing experience preferred * 2-5+ Years leadership/healthcare management experience preferred * Knowledge of hospital and nursing policies and procedures, as well as regulatory agency requirements, and establishment of staffing patterns and schedules. * Candidate must be able to handle stressful situations, and exercise considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in solving administrative/operational problems. * Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required * Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration * Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Salary Range USD $51.00 - USD $65.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
