Designed by nurses for nurses, the Asante New Graduate Residency program prepares newly graduated or novice nurses by organizing and overseeing all aspects of your transition. Through a blended orientation of classes and clinical work, you'll be supported both professionally and emotionally by a network of senior nurses who act as preceptors and mentors. Starting wage for this position is: $49.92 Differentials: * 3pm-11pm: $2.50/hr * 11pm-7am: $10/hr * Weekends(Friday at 11 pm to Sunday at 11pm):$2.25/hr Details to Know: * Apply once! Plus, you earn more with a higher nursing degree! License/Certification: * Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart Association required upon start. Additional Certifications Required for Specific Units which must be obtained within 4-months of start date (Asante will work with new grads who will require additional certifications post hire). * Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Women and Children's * Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)- Women and Children's * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Critical Care (ICU, CCU, IMCU), Cardiac Center, Emergency Room * Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or ENPC - Emergency Room About Asante With over 6,000 employees, Asante is the largest employer in the nine-county region in which we serve.
