Registered Nurse RN 50/52 Weekend Neuro Med Surg

Overview Sign on Bonuses $15,000 with a 1 year work commitment (new graduates & external candidates) OSF will invest in you on day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits. Pay range for this position is $32.08-$48.73. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This position includes a night shift differential of $4.00/hr and a 40% premium on the hourly base pay for all hours worked during the defined weekend. POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with Providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination acrosss the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psycyhological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assinged team members, promotes best practices and maintains professional disposition at all times. Will be scheduled and required to work 50 out of every 52 weekends. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Licenses/Certifications: RN-Registered Nurse; American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Education: BSN * Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency OSF Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
