Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology $20,000 Sign On

The Cardiology NP# performs admissions and discharges on cardiac patients, cardiac catherization, device implantation and ablation. He/she provides patient education and assists in obtaining pre-procedure informed consent; and provides post procedure follow up care.## Performs stress tests in collaboration with the designated cardiologist.# Our#Position#Includes: 4- 10 Hour shifts Weekend coverage as needed Low Cost Health Insurance $20,000 Sign on Bonus Job requirements: Required: Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.# Currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult, Family Practice or Specialty area in New York State.# Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.# Minimum of two (2) years of experience in acute care nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire of within#two (2)#weeks after hire.# Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at the time of hire or within three (3) months after hire.# AHA Stroke Certification part A required within one (1) month of employment; part B required within six (6) months of hire date.# #Preferred:# Previous critical care experience.# Master#s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.# Certification in a specialty area. Special Skills: Competence in computer/information systems use and management.
