# Join our Nurse Residency Program on D2!## # About the Units:# D2 (20 beds-all private rooms) and D3 (20 beds-all private rooms) work together to care for a medical surgical patient population. Whether it#s orthopedic, spine, thoracic, vascular, bariatric or general surgery patients, those with general medical illnesses, infections, or patients at end of life. You have the opportunity to develop a solid foundation, hone your skills, gain expertise in various aspects of patient care, and truly make a difference. Each registered nurse has a tailored orientation plan to ensure success and adequate support throughout their career. It helps create a work life balance!# About our Nurse Residency Program:# As a Nurse Resident, we want to do everything to set you up for success!# You will be assigned to a Cohort and attend 6 months of monthly educational sessions with your cohort team members.# This is led by our Nurse Residency Coordinator.# The program is designed to ease your transition from a novice nurse to a competent nurse.# Teaching methodologies include didactic learning, simulation and fun team activities applicable to nursing practice at Saratoga Hospital.# This occurs while you are completing your 3-4 month unit orientation where you will be assigned a preceptor.# Just a few of our perks include:# Sign-On Bonus of $4,000 showing our belief in you!# Professional Development Program where you can earn up to $6,000 bonus and $2,000 for your own professional development# Tuition Assistance # our unique Nursing Scholarship Program where you could qualify for full tuition, books and fees to pursue a BSN or MSN.# Certification Pay Program.
