We seek an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-BC for a full-time position in our Ambler, PA, location. The ideal Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will enjoy working in a collaborative environment with other clinicians and embrace innovative therapies appropriate for effective treatment. Compensation: * $140,000-$150,000 annually * W2 Model Requirements: * Clean & unrestricted Pennsylvania license * Board Certification * Two years of post-certification experience with assessments, evaluations, and medication management * Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required * Expertise and experience in treating children, teens, and young adults is not required but advantageous for this role. Responsibilities: * Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing * Analyze data & results of assessments to diagnose patients * Prescribe and administer medications according to diagnosis * Monitor patients to determine efficacy and potential side effects of medications * Develop a treatment plan, measure progress against the plan, and make adjustments as needed * Provide crisis intervention as needed * Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner * Collaborate with a broader team of prescribers and clinicians to assess and adjust treatment plans Advantages: * Health/Dental/Vision/401k with employer contribution & additional elective insurances * Malpractice insurance provided * Additional advantages include student loan paydown plan, EAP services at no cost, professional development/CEUs About J.
