Duties Administers nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled students; consult with families and medical professionals to coordinate student care; provides professional development and develops networking with area agencies to promote health services for students; assesses student health needs, develops, and implements nursing care plans and emergency medical plans, and maintains medical records; serves as the health specialist as a member of the educational team to assist in evaluating and planning programs for students.
