Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) $30,000 Sign-on Bonus Eligible Days - Monday-Friday, Will work between the hours of 6:30a-3p, Two call evenings per week (must be within a 30 minute response time) Position Summary: * Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. * Provides intraoperative and postoperative nursing care. * Safely and adequately provides and utilizes equipment and supplies based on unique patient need. * Uses electronic nursing documentation for charging patient supplies per department policy and procedure. * Evaluates patient outcomes and documents patient care given. * Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. * Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. * Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. * Assesses the physiological and psychosocial needs of the patient and works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
