Registered Nurse Robotic Coordinator - Operating Room - Full Time

ATLANTICARE _____________________________________________ROLE DESCRIPTION TITLE: Robotic Program Coordinator JOB CODE: 405 EXEMPT: X NON-EXEMPT: DATE: 11/16/2023 REVISED: Minimum Qualifications: * Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required. * Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of NJ. * BLSHCP required. * 1-3 years related experience required POSITION SUMMARY The Registered Nurse Robotic Program Coordinator oversees all aspects of the Robotic Program and ensures the effective and efficient operation of the Robotic Program, both clinically and administratively. The Robotic Program Coordinator coordinates develops and oversees the program budget, collaborates with ancillary departments to provide excellent clinical and customer service, tracks return on investment for program expenditures, develops and implements marketing programs, oversees and maintains all Center of Excellence designations, develops and implements educational sessions for staff and patients, maintains and analyzes patient outcomes. This position will focus on the long-term goals of the Robotic program while also managing the day-to-day operations. This position works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team and acts as a liaison between the physicians, nurses, and the hospital. This position collaborates with clinical educators and clinical managers in identifying, developing, and implementing educational activities for nursing personnel caring for the robotic surgical patient. This position will be responsible for Robotic data, new program development and implementation. This positions also leads quality and safety initiatives for robotic surgery. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of NJ. BLSHCP required. EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years related experience required. Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool. WORK ENVIRONMENT Reaching, stooping, kneeling and crouching approximately 25% of a workday; visual and physical ability required to work at a computer terminal; standing and walking approximately 50% of a workday; lifting approximately 50 to 100 pounds frequently with assistance occasionally; physical abilities required to push, pull or transport equipment and patients. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP This position reports to department leadership and may supervise incumbents as assigned.
