House RN Supervisor

Summary * Excellent opportunity for an RN looking to get into a leadership role! The House Supervisor is a key leadership position and consists of placement of patients, assist with scheduling of staff, troubleshooting problems, communications with hospital leadership, working side by side with leaders of the various departments and dealing with the public on hospital matters * 1+ years RN experience. Must have a calm demeanor, great people skills, good communicator, learn to see the big picture of hospital wide operation, able to handle stressful situations * 3x12 schedule starting at 5:45am. Every other weekend and every other holiday * Contact [email protected] for more information Provides shift coordination across departments within the nursing division to promote continuity of patient care by assuring compliance with medical and nursing orders, coordinating patient placement, monitoring nursing activities and channeling selected information. Addresses issues outside of nursing, as needed, to ensure patient, staff and visitor concerns are resolved. Qualifications Education Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred Experience 1 year Nursing experience is required Leadership experience preferred Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules Basic Life Support (BLS) is required ACLS, NRP, and PALS required as per local affiliate guidelines Physical Requirements: Clinical Overview Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
