Responsibilities include health screening and services, emergency first aid, the care of those who are ill and/or injured while in the school, maintenance of health records, and instruction in sound health practices. Minimum Qualifications: * A valid NJDOE School Nurse Certificate #3000 or * or a valid NJDOE School Nurse-Non Instructional Certificate #3010 or * Hold a valid, current New Jersey RN License; if an RN is eligible for an Emergency Certification, the candidate must provide documented proof of enrollment in a qualified program to obtain the required courses necessary for the issuance of a Standard School Nurse-Non Instructional Certificate within 3 years from date of hire. * Hold a current CPR and First Aid Certification * Hold and maintain a valid driver's license with no serious violations * Hold a Child Care Health Consultant Certification, preferred Terms: * Ten (10) month position * Salary, benefits and leave time as specified in the Collective Bargaining Agreement * Reports to the Director of Special Services and Building Principal Special note: All items mentioned above MUST be scanned and attached to your online job application to be a considered candidate.
