Nurse (Clinical/Medical-Surgical Expanded Function)

Overview This position is located in the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. Ft.Eisenhower is adjacent to Augusta, GA famous for its major attraction, The Masters Golf Tournament. Ft. Eisenhower has a moderate year-round climate and offers close proximity to metropolitan areas, beaches along the Atlantic Ocean and the Appalachian Mountains. Links: https://eisenhower.tricare.mil/ https://www.augustaga.gov/ Responsibilities As a Nurse( Clinical/Medical-Surg) you will: * Document all nursing care and nursing assessments in the electronic medical record. * Provide continuous patient observation, monitoring and reporting to prevent complications and restore the patient to health. * Interpret vital signs, signs and symptoms of deterioration in condition, and normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms. * Initiate life-saving measures, which include, but are not limited to cardiopulmonary resuscitation. * Administer and monitors the use of medications. Qualifications US Citizenship Required Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. At least one year experience working as a Nurse (Clinical/Medical-Surg)
