SBVCC is a 200 bed long-term care facility located on the grounds of McGuire VA Hospital in Richmond, VA. The RN Weekend Supervisor is responsible for delivering skilled nursing care for our veteran residents. The RN Weekend Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the quality of services and monitoring and supervising the direct care staff in the performance of their duties. This position includes a sign on bonus for external hires. The position hours are Saturday/Sunday, 7am - 7pm, with two 8-hour shifts during the week. Duties include: * Responsible for the management and supervision of staff and for maintaining sound organizational relationships with staff within the facility, residents and families. * Ensure that continuous quality care is provided along with the implementation, maintenance and evaluation of policies, programs and services is consistent with regulatory standards. * Responsible for the coordination of nursing services during tour of duty and for ensuring residents receive optimum quality of care.
