Staff Nurse, Occupational Health Services

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES * Performance of Part I health assessments for new hires; * History and physical, draw blood, administer TB testing, perform immunizations; * Maintain medical records; * Obtain consent and take care of other legal requirements, such as immunization notifications; * Review lab results; * Follow-up on lab results; * Perform annual health assessments; * Review Part II physical results; * Refer to Weiler Occupational Health Service as appropriate; * Assist with 3rd year medical student clearance process; * Assist with fit testing program; * Focus on health assessments and records of basic science departments; * Function as head nurse in their absence; * Perform other related duties as assigned. This position can either be full time or part time. QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited program for RN education and a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State is required. Hiring Rate $42.15 + applicable differentials Minimum Salary Range Maximum Salary Range About Us The Staff Nurse performs health assessments and follows-up on results under the supervision of the Head Nurse in the Occupational Health Services Department.
