RN Nursing Supervisor Sign On Bonus up to $7500

The McGuire Group's Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville, NY, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor. The Nursing Supervisor supervises the day to day nursing activities at the facility during hours of duty. Ensures that all facility, state and local regulations are followed to ensure highest degree of quality of care is maintained at all times. Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Responsible for the care and safety of all residents, ensuring that individual care plans are current, implemented and revised as necessary * Responsible for a comprehensive assessment of a resident's physical, and/or mental status when indicated; and for appropriate follow up as indicated by the assessment * Responsible for the supervision of the team leaders and certified nursing assistants, nursing assistant trainees and for the completion of probationary and annual evaluations * Responsible for arranging the coverage for call offs and authorizing overtime only when necessary (in the absence of the DON, ADON and staffing coordinator) * Responsible for addressing family/visitor concerns as well as assuring the safety/security of the building * Supervises waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy * Receives medication deliveries from the pharmacy * Responsible for ensuring that the designated representative is notified of any change in the resident's condition or plan of care. * Is responsible for ensuring that the physician is informed of any change in the resident's condition, abnormal lab results, diagnostic test results, consultant recommendation, etc. Requirements: * A licensed professional nurse currently licensed in New York State who possesses an appropriate level of education, training and experience to fulfill all requirements/duties of the position. * Minimum 18 years of age * No findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment and misappropriation of property * Strong written and verbal communication skills * expertise and experience required for the task * Demonstrated ability in management, leadership and interpersonal skills Pay Rate: * $36-$38/hour with a sign on bonus up to $7,500 (rate is dependent on experience and shift) We Offer: * Weekly Paychecks * Referral Bonuses * Tuition Assistance * Flexible Schedules Apply online or send resume and cover letter to: Harris Hill Nursing Facility 2699 Wehrle Drive Williamsville, NY 14221 About Us: The McGuire Group is a portfolio of six health care facilities in New York state, including: Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg; Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue; Garden Gate Health Care Facility in Cheektowaga; Harris Hill Nursing Facility in Williamsville; Northgate Health Care Facility in North Tonawanda and Seneca Health Care Center in West Seneca.
