Clinical Supervisor, CV ICU, Full-Time

The CVlCU is a 42 bed, post-cardiac surgical ICU for all post open heart surgery patients including CABG, Valves, LVAD, Heart Transplant, and Vascular(aortic aneurysm repairs), anything requiring a sternotomy. Devices: Continuous renal replacement therapy, Targeted temperature management (post cardiac arrest), IABP, LVAC, Impellas & ECMO. We also pair our devices. Our unit provides excellent care to some of the highest acuity patients in the state. We value a strong work ethic, critical thinking, and teamwork. RESPONSIBLE FOR: Continuous collaboration with the Clinical Manager to ensure consistent supervision of the staff. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of a nursing program. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two (2) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Previous supervisory experience desired. Valid BLS certification required. ACLS certification may be required given unit specialty. Leadership qualities that demonstrate creativity, innovation, proactive and collaborative relationship. Participation in continuing education and maintenance of current knowledge for the care of patients in assigned unit(s). Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty.
