Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator (UC) for the Intermediate Care/Step Down Unit-3 East. As a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator with Sentara, you can excel in your career. There are many different specialties where you can perform and grow your nursing skills in areas of interest to you. This is a promotional opportunity into leadership to advance your level of care in the Medical Telemetry setting. * Full-time (40-hours per week) * Day Shift * 18-months of RN experience is required * BSN required Department/Position Overview: The 3East - Intermediate Care Unit at Sentara Virginia Beach General enjoys a supportive team environment and nurse patient ratio including a unit based nurse educator, team coordinator and manager. The unit has an active Partnership council and is currently involved with the hospital Magnet redesignation journey. All new grad RNs receive a 10 to 12-week clinical preceptorship as well as enrollment in the Nurse Residency Program.
