RN, Adult Operating Room

Department Overview South Operating Room (SOR) is a large 25-bed OR primarily an adult inpatient operating room with a small volume of outpatient procedures including: Cardiac/ Thoracic, General Surgery/Minimally Invasive/ Colorectal/Bariatric, Gynecology, Oral Maxillofacial, Neuro/neuro spine, Orthopedic/orthopedic spine, Otolaryngology, Plastics, Transplant, Urology, Vascular, Robotic (Urology/GYN/Oral), and Trauma. Surgical procedures on infants and children less than 18 years of age are also performed if the procedure requires specialized equipment found only at this location. Function/Duties of Position Up to $10,000 Hiring Bonus. Must start by July 1, 2024 to qualify. $49.16-$78.18 per hour, based on RN Degree and level of experience OHSU cares for acutely and critically ill patients in our Operating Room. Operating Room nurses also provide patient and family-centered care for the full spectrum of illnesses. The OHSU Clinical registered nurse (RN) provides compassionate, evidence-based, and efficient care to individuals, families, communities and patient populations. The Clinical RN's care delivery is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act, the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, and the ANA Code of Ethics.
